2020, (5): 16-28.
Abstract(473) PDF(41)
Abstract:
Based on a literature review, this paper critically discusses and analyzes the intentions, influencing factors, and intervention models of adolescent suicide. First, I redefine the types of adolescent suicides, distinguishing between planned suicides caused by relatively chronic risk factors and impulsive suicides caused by relatioely acute risk factors. Considering the character of adolescence as a period of stormy psychological, emotional, and personality development of individuals, I analyse the path dependence of adolescent suicides on family and school systems, affirming that adolescent suicides not only reflect their own vulnerability, but also show the long-lasting unresolved problems of family or school systems. I therefore emphasize the importance of family-school collaboration in preventing and intervening in adolescent suicide. In addition, I re-examine the many factors influencing youth suicide, differentiating between predisposing factors, contributing factors, precipitating factors and protective factors in response to the different stages of suicide initiation. This is to discuss the influence of different factors on different stages. Based on this, from a practical point of view, I propose a working model of family-school collaboration for youth suicide prevention and intervention, as well as working strategies and working practices, etc.

PENG Hongbin
2020, (5): 45-53.
Abstract(207) PDF(5)
Abstract:
In terms of the market size of for-profit private universities in developed countries, the majority of for-profit private higher education institutions are in the form of two-year vocational and technical colleges. In the meantime, a small number of for-profit private universities offer masters and PhD programmes in the UK and the US. The development of for-profit higher education market is based on the concept of market-oriented public management, which provides diversified courses and vocational training for learners, adapts to the market development, employs a large number of part-time teachers, and pays less attention to scientific research. The main factors affecting the development of for-profit higher education are the degree of marketization, government's public policy and the sufficiency of the school-age population for higher education in the country.

2020, (5): 54-65.
Abstract(269) PDF(13)
Abstract:
2075 literatures on the relationship between higher education and regional economy from CNKI database were analyzed by using CiteSpace, a visual analysis tool. The results showed that there were many research forces in the field of higher education and regional economy while there was a lack of close cooperation between the authors. The interaction, adaptation, coordination and development path among them were studied. Since 1991, the research focus has undergone three stages of transformation:ethnic minority higher education higher vocational education higher education and economic coordination and innovation, showing an obvious policy-oriented function. At the same time, there are also weak in theoretical explanatory and guidance power. In the future, breakthroughs should be made by expanding academic team, changing research concept, expanding research methods, strengthening theoretical basis, innovating research content and highlighting local characteristics.

CHEN Li, YANG Jinsong, XU Tao
2020, (5): 66-72.
Abstract(237) PDF(6)
Abstract:
In order to promote the upgrade and transformation of innovation and entrepreneurship education, Chinese universities have continued to build a curriculum system for innovation and entrepreneurship education. To improve the quality of such courses, universities enterprises, and other educational agencies work together to produce such courses. As a result, there is a practical need for the record of innovation and entrepreneurship courses from a single subject of universities to multi-subjects recording by universities and other course providers. This raises the research question of this paper:How to record the diversified learning outcomes of students (including learning processes and certificates) in a distributed way? Based on the advantage of decentralization of blockchain technology, this paper attempts to build a blockchain-based learning outcome recording model for innovation and entrepreneurship course, analyze recording nodes and simulate the blockchain generation process, and propose a possible solution to the problem of innovation and entrepreneurship learning outcome recording, so as to promote the upgrading and reform of innovation and entrepreneurship education. Nevertheless, this paper acknowledges that there are still problems such as technical barriers and lagging concepts to be solved in the future.
Research on Confucian Instructors in Ming Dynasty
ZHOU Yong
2020, (5): 73-78.
Abstract(300) PDF(12)
Abstract:
The Ming Dynasty established a government -run education system with a relatively complete institution and overall coverage. The main implementers of the imperial examination education were the Confucian instructors who served as teaching posts in schools at all levels in the Ming Dynasty. In the context of the politicization of imperial examination education, the Confucian instructors in the Ming Dynasty were incorporated into the bureaucratic system for management where they had the dual identities of being an official and a teacher. Different from the government officials serving as teachers in the Qin Dynasty, the Confucian Instructors System was committed to entail "Confucian scholars as government officials". It was an institutionalization of the highly concentrated monarchy in the Ming Dynasty for Confucianism as the foundation of the country, the unity of politics and education, officials and teachers. The status, development, and treatment of the Confucian instructors in the Ming Dynasty can be regarded as a state of existence under the autocratic monarchy of Confucianism in the Ming Dynasty.

2020, (5): 91-96.
Abstract(449) PDF(8)
Abstract:
At the beginning of the founding of the People's Republic of China, Chinese government embarked on "College and Department Adjustment" nationwide in order to train talents more effectively and systematically based on the overall interests of the country. The "College and department adjustment" has been set in motion vigorously. To a certain extent, it can be said that it was a full copy of the Soviet higher education model, profoundly impacting on the development of higher education in China. However, there were also many problems in the process. Through the implementation of the "College and department adjustment", Sun Yat-sen University not merely moved its campus and transformed it into a comprehensive university composed of various departments of liberal arts and sciences, but reconstructed its management, teaching, and scientific research models.
