  • In order to meet the challenge of marketization and popularization of higher education, elite American liberal arts college, while adhering to the concept of free education, is also taking the initiative to transform, actively developing engineering technology education, and cultivating excellent engineers and applied technical talents. In the process of cultivating technical talents, elite liberal arts college adheres to the school philosophy of liberal arts education and engineering education, attaches importance to the construction of capacity training system based on engineering practice and professional certification, and adopts the student-centered multi-teaching method to construct education ecosystem based on interdisciplinary entrepreneurship. The experience of cultivating applied technical talents in the elite liberal arts college has important implications for the construction of high-level application-oriented university in China.
