Abstract(370) PDF(16)
Abstract:
The research on national unity education during the past 40 years of Reform and Opening-up has experienced three periods including germination, warming up, and flourishing. The correlated research germinated during the first period and focused on publicity and popularization of national unity during the second period. During the third period, researchers mainly focused on the improvement of national unity education efficiency and theory construction. Generally speaking, related studies developed and continued along two levels: practical level including policies, courses, teaching materials, teachers, activities and existing problems as well as theoretical level including significance, purpose, paradigm and related theories of national unity education. Practice and theory are complementary, concrete practice of national unity education established foundation for studying its abstract features and laws, while abstract and macro-level theory of national unity education provided basis and guidance for its practice. This shows the construction and development of the national unity education research system from concrete to abstract and from abstract to concrete.

YANG Weidong
2020, (1): 20-28.
Abstract(374) PDF(311)
Abstract:
The children's view is the fundamental view and attitude of children, and it is the result of social construction. The construction of a reasonable children's view must not only consider the needs of the times and society, but also the characteristics of children. This paper examines the three transformations of Chinese children's views from the macroscopic perspective of social and historical development: the first transformation is from the ancient "adult standard" to the "national standard" in the late Qing Dynasty, the second transformation is from the "national standard" in the late Qing Dynasty to the "children's standard" in the period of the New Culture Movement, and the third transformation is from the "children's standard" in the period of the New Culture Movement to the "political standard" of the Nanjing National Government. On this basis, the relationship between children and adults, the state and politics is analyzed. It is believed that children and adults are an equal relationship between subjects, children and the state are equal rights and obligations, children and politics are independent political subjects, the construction of a reasonable children's view should handle these three pairs of relationships.

LI Xingjun, LIU Xiuyan, SUN Jianhua
2020, (1): 29-38.
Abstract(513) PDF(34)
Abstract:
Learning, Asking, Thinking, Debating, Acting and Enlightening is a new two-way interactive teaching model after reforming the traditional one-way teaching model. Based on the "student-centered" teaching concept, the integration of teachers, students, learning content and learning media beyond time and space promotes the construction of new cognitive structure for college students by intensifying external stimulation and inducing college students’ conditional responses and insights. Empirical research and data analysis show that the satisfaction of the teaching model of "Learning, Asking, Thinking, Debating, Acting and Enlightening" is very high, which can significantly improve the learning effect of students in the humanities and social sciences, especially their critical thinking, expression and writing.

HUANG Jinghui
2020, (1): 39-45.
Abstract(636) PDF(51)
Abstract:
The further critical public opinions different from the professional community about the education issues which is attributed to the symbol of "Exam-oriented education" is confined by the current online media culture and consumption culture, and falls into the irrational and synonymous repeated criticism. Based on the "The society of Spectacle" theory of Guy-Ernest Debord, analyzing of "Exam-oriented education", what is found that some phenomenon of "alienation" can be seen in both the educational business market and institutionalized educational system. In the context and the narration of "Exam-oriented education", shadow education is a kind of fake game which is an infinite competition; "educating" is misunderstood as the external needs of individuals, and the amount of commoditized education is beyond its quality; the logic of consumerism gradually has influence on the institutionalized education system and the school culture may become the performance of the "Spectacle society". To deconstruct the "the Spectacle of education", school metaculture approach is a possible and courageous tool for practical change.
From “School Improvement” to “Appreciation Exploration”: The Path of Small-scale School Construction in Rural Areas
GAO Cancan, ZHONG Yanpeng
2020, (1): 46-52.
Abstract(337) PDF(24)
Abstract:
The social demands and value cognition of small-scale schools in rural areas of China in various periods have shaped the stage development characteristics of "expansion, contraction and coordinated return". At present, to promote the construction of small-scale schools in rural areas, most of them are based on "defective discourse". In view of the shortcomings in the construction of small-scale schools in rural areas, the improvement path of schools mostly depends on financial investment, policy tendency, teacher training and other ways. If we only start from the construction concept of cognition from the perspective of defects, it is easy to cause the conflict between the value concept and the instrumental rationality of small-scale rural schools, showing "the total amount of financial investment is insufficient, the distribution structure is unreasonable", "the implementation of policies is not perfect, the pursuit of short-term goals", "the construction strategy of teaching staff is not perfect", etc. This paper attempts to replace "defective discourse" with "appreciative inquiry" and explore the positive core strategies for the development of small-scale schools in rural areas: practice the principle of equal educational opportunities, build schools with rural characteristics, strengthen teacher training, and help the revitalization of rural culture, so as to seek a new path for the construction of small-scale schools in rural areas.

ZHANG Fengjuan, QUAN Jinglan
2020, (1): 60-67.
Abstract(264) PDF(13)
Abstract:
As the "meta-resource" of resource allocation, the allocation mode of policy resources determines the maximum social and economic benefits that policy can produce. Through the analysis of the allocation of organizational resources, authoritative resources and financial resources in 31 provincial governments "double first-class" construction schemes in China, it is found that there are many problems in the construction of "double first-class" in local governments, such as the mismatch between the allocation of resources and construction objectives, the imperfection of the allocation of organizational resources and authoritative resources, and financial resources lack of specific and reasonable planning for allocation. Therefore, based on university mission and regional strategy, the main ways to optimize local government’s "double first-class" construction are to rationally set up "double first-class" construction objectives, build an execution system with strong authoritative resources, and formulate financial resources supporting programs.

ZHENG Chun
2020, (1): 74-85.
Abstract(490) PDF(31)
Abstract:
The successful establishment of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) has provided new opportunities and ways to aggregate the world's high-quality higher education resources and enhance the global governance capabilities of higher education across the world. The construction of the European higher education quality assurance system based on the Bologna Process is the key to promoting the formation of EHEA. The European higher education quality assurance system has the characteristics of well-developed organizational structure, thick legal and regulatory foundations, high transparency and sustainability of relevant policies and institutional tools, which ensure the scientific layout and effective implementation of quality assurance work, and accordingly making the quality assurance work truly promoted. At present, China’s higher education assurance system has several problems, such as insufficient legal support, insufficient sharing and insufficient transparency of relevant information, lack of the participation of other non-official organization in quality evaluation. China should to some extent learn from the path and experience of European higher education quality assurance construction in order to strengthen the legal support foundation of higher education quality assurance system, enlarge the scale of participation of stakeholders of higher education, further highlight the contribution of universities made to the society, optimize the ecological environment of higher education development, and explore the collaborative mechanism as to further improving the evaluation by involving more social organizations. All of these are the keys to further construct a scientific, efficient, and higher education quality assurance system that meets the practical needs of China's higher education development.
