On the Theoretical Foundations of Educational Practice in China

摘要: 本文由"有中国特色的教育学"话题引起,主要讨论我国教育的理论依据问题,即在价值观念上从"人本位"文化到"人民本位"文化的流变,在理论上从经世致用之学到实践理论的流变,进而以教育为话题,讨论中西人文价值理念与理论性质的异同,旁及我国教育实践理论本身有待探讨的问题。议论所及,无非是就人民共和国人文学科历史上一度出现关于"看不见的手"观念同"看得见的手"观念之间的误会与冲突,无非提供一点同情性的理解而已。Abstract: This paper explores the theoretical foundations of educational practice in China. It breaks through the boundary of education and digs into the theoretical bases of Chinese education. More specifically, it examines the value transition from "human-oriented" culture to "mass-oriented" culture, together with the theoretical transition from practical learning to the theory of practice. Furthermore, rooted in the context of education, this paper explores the differences and commonalities in the values and theoretical attributes of humanities between China and the Western world, shedding light on issues of the theory of educational practice in China. The intention of the discussions is to produce a sympathetic understanding of the misunderstandings and conflicts between the principles of "invisible hand" and "visible hand" once in the history of humanities in the People's Republic.
